A visit from Santa Claus is every child’s dream.

David has been appearing as Santa Claus in Southern California since 1990.  He has many regular clients who hire him year after year after year.  David understands that the secret to playing Santa Claus successfully is love.  That’s it.  It’s not about whether they’ve been naughty, it’s about being accepting, opening his arms, pulling out his smile, and bringing joy to a child’s life, if just for an hour.  This is the moment that a child will remember an entire lifetime.

David and his crew of Santa Clauses can:

• Magic Santa Claus.  A Magic Castle magician dressed in a Santa Claus outfit.
• Singing Santa Claus.  A professional singer who puts on an emotionally moving show of 3 Christmas songs.
• Psychic Santa Claus.  This Santa Claus can read palms, interpret the tarot, and tell the future in a variety of other ways.

Our other holiday entertainers

Mrs. Claus, elves, snowmen, toy soldiers, a grinch, reindeer, etc.  These characters are great for kids.  They make balloon animals and paint faces.

• Magicians.  A Magic Castle magician can perform:
  • A kids’ magic show
  • A standup show to adult crowds ranging from 15 to 1,000 people
  • Walkaround magic, which means the magician is strolling from group to group at a party, performing for small groups ranging from two to ten people.
  • A mindreading show, which is the most stunning feat of all.
  • Carolers.  Dressed in Victorian finery and creating a beautiful noise.

 We have 23 years’ experience providing Santa Clauses and other holiday entertainment for holiday parties.  Clients include Mobil Oil, Sony Pictures, Gracie Films, Tom Cruise, James Cameron, Candace Bergen, Laura Diaz, the Bel-Air Country Club, Westside Pavilion, Amtrak, Norman Lear, Dino de Laurentiis, Loew’s Hotel, PEN USA West, the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the Independent Writers of Southern California, the Association of College Personnel Administrators, and many others.

Our lead Santa Claus

is David Groves, who is the author of a beloved L.A. Times series called “On Being Santa Claus,” drawn from David’s experiences as the mall Santa Claus at the Westside Pavilion when 9,000 children in five weeks sat on his lap.

Our cast of Mr. Clauses

is drawn from the ranks of L.A.’s aspiring actors, magicians, and comedians.  One appears regularly in commercials.  Another has performed musical theatre with the likes of Debbie Reynolds and Martha Raye.  Still another is a Magic Castle magician and published author.  They are all professionals.
